Consul general bids farewell

Sun Guoxiang, China's consul general in New York, speaks to the media Monday evening at a farewell reception honoring him and his wife Wang Min, at the Chinese Consulate General in New York. More than 500 people attended the event, including Chinese community leaders, representatives of the overseas Chinese student community, and Chinese companies and media. Sun said that during his tenure, which lasted three years and four months, he's been impressed with the bond between the Chinese community and the motherland.
