American climber Dean Potter successfully crossed a 200-meter-high valley on a rope and without any safety equipment in Enshi Canyon, Hubei province, April 22, 2012. He has made a new record for walking 41 meters on a rope between mountain peaks. The Enshi Canyon he conquers this time is about 1800 meters above sea level.
