The region's tourism authority earmarked 100,000 yuan ($14,760) as travel fund for students to blow off steam and expand their outdoors experiences.
Inner Mongolia's winter resources have been integrated with folk customs, local history, offering diverse experiences for visitors, a tourism official says at the event.
Local tourism authority has launched modern prairie and desert experiences for winter vacationers this year.
Routes featuring gourmet food, photography and snow resort elements have been developed to attract young visitors.
