The carnival, which will be staged at an indoor facility at the Beijing Olympic Park, will begin on Aug 1 and last till the end of October.
It will also showcase recreations of old Beijing streets and landmark buildings, besides showcasing facial makeup from traditional operas.
Visitors to the carnival can also do ice-climbing.
The carnival aims to offer a chance to visitors to get away from the summer heat, the organizer said.
Tickets for adults are priced at 168 yuan ($25). Tickets for children cost 60 yuan.
