2. Know your plant type
If you don't have friends that will stay during the Spring Festival, then you'd better learn how to take care of them while you can. Knowing about the plant type is important, as drought resistant plants and shade-requiring plants have different needs for water and sunshine.
Drought resistant plants often have thick leaves, like those belong to the cactus family: the crab cactus, the cacti, maguey and succulent plants like aloe and aeonium arboreum. For such plants, just water them with enough water and put them in the sunshine indoors.
