The world's getting really crowded, and while most of us enjoy the global village life, sometimes you just need to get away from it all. Even so, urbanites are so used to their little luxuries, the ideal retreat should have enough elbow space for body and soul, and still be, well, comfortable.
Endless yoga sessions at a remote ashram may not be everyone's cup of herbal infusion. Besides, when you have just two days, the list of options quickly shortens.

A recent search for a getaway tossed up some interesting possibilities, one of the most attractive coming from a boutique hotel in Hong Kong.
J Plus Boutique Hotel in the center of Hong Kong's Causeway Bay is offering a special Girls' Night In package, which includes an overnighter for three people in one of its luxurious suites, a bottle of bubbly, an assortment of sweet nibbles and pampering kits for face, feet and hands. Also included is a pack of vouchers offering generous discounts at nearby restaurants and spas.
What adds to the attraction is that all the rooms are furnished by French designer Philippe Starck.
His influence immediately becomes apparent as soon as you step into the compact lobby.
