Lingshui village, Beijing
Located in the Mentougou district of Beijing, Lingshui village is a large ancient village, where the majority of residences date from Liao (916–1125), Jin (1115–1234), Yuan (1279–1368) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. In this village, visitors can see many relics of ancient temples which were used to house the statues of divinities worshipped by the ancient villagers. The village is dotted with many old, famous trees which are of great historical meanings.

Baihe River Valley, Beijing
Located in Miyun, Beijing, Baihe River Valley is one of the most developed rock-climbing areas near Beijing, with as many as 45 established sport and traditional routes. The main climbing area is adjacent to a sandy beach near the river, which makes it a perfect place for camping.
