South Korean So Yeon Ryu wins World Ladies Championship

South Korean player and world No 8 So Yeon Ryu won the World Ladies Championship at Mission Hills Haikou in China after 3 rounds of competition and the final on Sunday. Her compatriot and world No 2 Inbee Park secured the second place, and China's Janet Lin Xiyu jointly took the third with Norway's world No 5 Suzann Pettersen.
So Yean Ryu shot a 13-under-par won the game and claimed bonus of $75,000.
Park, who won the event last year, lost the game for a hit 12-under-par, one stroke behind So Yeon Ryu. Meanwhile, China's Janet Lin Xiyu and Norway's Suzann Pettersen shot 10-under-par gross 282, three strokes behind the winner, taking in the third spot.
The World Ladies Championship, co-organized by the Ladies European Tour and the China LPGA Tour, was held at Haikou Mission Hills in China from March 12 to 15.
