Build a dream in Nanjing
Wang Jian has been paying close attention to the Nanjing YOG since the city started bidding for the games. He was especially impressed by the theme song of this YOG, Dreams Never End, which was released on June 27.
"Big or small, everyone has a dream. Looking back over all these years, I have been realizing my dreams, the dream to win in a competition and the dream to start a business." he exclaimed.
"It does not matter when some dreams do not come true in the end. What really matters is pursuing the dream itself despite the twists and turns in the process."
As a veteran athlete, Wang was saying this for the teen athletes who are about to compete in Nanjing. He and his company are also making efforts to hold YOG-themed events as the games, in his words, are offering chances to realize dreams.
"My dream now is to help others realize their dreams." Wang said with a smile.
And he is actually doing more. Owing the brand of Kidswant, a leading retailer of mom-and-baby products in his group, Wang Jian expects that more sports talents could stand out from his present young customers, maybe just in 2022, in Beijing and Zhangjiakou.
