LAUSANNE, Switzerland - International gymnastics officials say they will discipline a Chinese judge who was caught falsifying a score during last year's Asian Games.

Shao Bin was a judge on the "D" panel, which evaluates the difficulty of routines, for the men's floor exercise final. But the International Gymnastics Federation says Bin changed an execution score without informing the head of that judging panel or the superior jury. The altered mark moved Chinese gymnast Zhang Chenglong from second into a tie for first place.

FIG called the situation "wholly unacceptable," and assigned Bin's case to its Disciplinary Commission.
