Lyubov claims women's sprint title

BEIJING -- Shulika Lyubov from Ukraine captured the title of the women's sprint at the Beijing UCI track cycling World Cup here on Saturday.

The 22-year-old beat Simona Krupeckaite of Lithuania in two straight races in the best-of-three final thanks to her strong dash ability.

Krupeckaite claimed the silver and local star Lin Junhong, who won women's team sprint together with teammate Gong Jinjie, took the third place.
