Sino-Africa cooperation can bring about the largest inclusive growth in the modern world, says an article in China Business News. Excerpts:

Inclusive development is the largest intersection between China and Africa. The mutually beneficial cooperation between China and African countries can help improve the livelihoods of 2.4 billion people and promote balance in the world economy.

Inclusive growth, proposed by the Asian Development Bank in 2007 for the first time, means the sustainable and coordinated development of society and economy. It emphasizes fairness and justice so that all members can enjoy the fruits of development.

The Chinese government embraces this concept, because it fits China’s situation. The African countries can also draw lessons from China’s inclusive growth to exploit appropriate development models.

Premier Li Keqiang proposed the provision of financial, human and technological support for African countries to build their infrastructures, and transportation and telecommunication systems.

Such cooperation is mutually beneficial, as it will lay a solid material foundation for Africa’s rise in the future, make good use of the industrial overcapacity in China and create new jobs for both sides.

Inclusive growth is completely different from the colonial powers’ exploitation of Africa in earlier times.

The cooperation between China and Africa is unconditional and based on a fair footing. China and Africa have similar experiences in recent history.

Sino-Africa cooperation is mutually beneficial, and more than simply humanitarian aid to Africa. China and African countries will also try their best to avoid destroying the environment in their cooperation.
