Malaysian food festival at Hotel Jen Upper East Beijing
One of Penang's renowned Malay master chefs, Siva Balagangdaram, will guest cook at Hotel Jen Upper East Beijing from July 20 to 30, to turn the hotel's lunch and dinner buffets into a world of Malaysian food.
Chef Balagangdaram, who has 32 years of experience in Malaysian cuisine, will make sure to surprise your palate with Malaysia's signature dishes such as Char Kway Teow and Nasi Kandar, and Penang specials, such as Roti Canai and Bubur Cha Cha.
Guests will also have chances to win small and big prizes, including a two-night holiday package to Penang with round-trip airline tickets and dinner for two, and a two-night weekend stay at Hotel Jen Penang and Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, Johor, Malaysia. Lunch and dinner rates start at 148 yuan ($23) and 208 yuan, respectively, per person. Prices are subject to service charges and taxes.
