When your cat gives you unexpected gifts, consider it an expression of love.
Other gestures such as spraying and scratching are also ways of showing love. When a cats misses you, they choose the areas associated with its owner such as your bed or your favorite chair. And then it urinates on the bed or the chair by using its scent, or leaves scratches as visual marks of ownership.
Then how do you know your cat is content and relaxed?
The most familiar sign is purring. Your cat will stretch on the floor or shrink into a crouch at your feet while purring. A friendly meow is also a sign of happiness and good mood.
Moreover, when a cat is happy, it will blink languidly and slowly. And it will become happier when you blink in return.
