Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh have called a truce.

The 'Fight For This Love' singer and the 'X Factor' judge were embroiled in a bitter feud after Cheryl recently slammed Louis as being more interested in money than her group Girls Aloud when he was their manager and Louis told her to "get vocal lessons" but the pair have ended their public fight after Cheryl reached out to Louis in a phone call.

Cheryl posted a message she received from Louis on twitter as the music manager doesn't have an account on the micro-blogging site.

She wrote: "Bout to take this ish to the main stage *calls Louis*...

"Spoke to Mr. Walsh.. And he asked me to post his text as he does NOT have twitter.. #chezzafromtheblockcameouttoplay..

"Hello Cheryl !! Princess of pop and biggest hair in the land!!!! Let's call a truce to all this stuff in the press and things that happened ten years ago !! We always had fun on the x factor and I always defended u against the wicked cowell !! We used to have great fun and life is too short u and I always said !! I'm looking forward to your new music and think u shud come on the xfsctor live show to perform !!!! Keep smiling and send me some new product !!!! Louis Walsh still on x factor !!! Cheryl then added: "And that's all folks.."
