South Korean director Ahn Byeong-ki has joined forces with mainland actress Mei Ting to shoot a horror film, which will be released soon.
The film, tentatively named Ouiji Board, deals with a mother's desperate protection of her child.
This is the first time Mei has performed in a horror film. She describes herself as timid.
Ahn made a film with a similar subject in 2004, but producer Pei Lin denies it is a sequel, emphasizing it has a new concept and is set in China.
