Jessica Alba is set to release her first book.
The 'Spy Kids 4' star - who has daughters Honor, three, and seven-month-old Haven with husband Cash Warren - is writing a how-to handbook about creating a non-toxic home.
She said: "It will be easy and fun and I want it to be really colourful. I'm a crazy foodie. I love doing projects with my kids. Everything in this book will be something meaningful that I've incorporated into our lives.
"I wanted some kind of handbook with all the information I was consuming so I could apply it in a practical way."
But the 30-year-old actress, who recently launched her first business, The Honest Company - insists the book will be eye-opening without being over-the-top.
She told People Magazine: "It's totally crazy but amazing. I'm not extreme. This book is for people who are in the middle but want to create a healthier life, like me."
Titled 'The Honest Life', the publication - which is expected to hit the stores early 2013 - will include everything from recipes and design ideas through to tips to fill your house with pure materials.
Giving a sneak preview, Jessica added: "Honor's favorite meatball recipe will be in there. And I always hide flax seeds in everything."
