Gwyneth Paltrow "loves" wearing stripes.
The 39-year-old actress - who is the new star of Scandinavian chain Lindex - has both a "sexy cool" and "easy chic" style which she ultimately describes as "modern preppy".
She is quoted by MailOnline as saying: "On the red carpet, I like to wear things that are modern and elegant and I like to push it a little bit.
"My style is modern preppy because I grew up wearing a uniform, always starting from a peppy aesthetic and making my own twist on it.
"I love stripes, I wear them almost every day in my life."
Gwyneth - who has children, Apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses with her Coldplay frontman husband Chris Martin - is currently starring a campaign for the Swedish company called 'Modern Preppy', which sees her working her favourite styles.
A spokesperson for the brand admitted choosing the blonde beauty as an "easy one" because she fits the look perfectly.
They explained: "When Gwyneth isn't wearing elegant gowns on the red carpet, her style preference is stripes and 'casual chic'.
"The decision to use her as Lindex's model was an easy one, since she is practically synonymous with the 'Modern Preppy' look."
