Ryan Gosling's dream life

Ryan Gosling feels his life is "dream-like".

The Canadian star admits his rise to fame has left him feeling detached from many people, one of the reasons he has decided to make use of social networking site twitter.

He said: "I find twitter so interesting. It's so voyeuristic. And I feel so removed, you know, from people, because of my job now.

"I feel like I get to see them in a way that I don't get to see them in real life.

"You know when you are in a dream, and everyone knows you in your dream, and you always feel like everyone's looking at you, and you're you but you're not? It feels like that all the time. It's just been getting more and more dream-like."

The 30-year-old hunk has starred in a number of big movies in recent years, including 'Blue Valentine', 'Half Nelson' and 'The Notebook', but he admits his favourite has been surreal drama 'Lars and the Real Girl'.

He told Total Film magazine: "I like 'Lars and the Real Girl' That's my favourite by far. I had a really nice time on that movie."
