Gwyneth Paltrow plugs a handset into her cell phone to minimise "radiation".
The actress owns a YUBZ Retro Handset which she attaches to her BlackBerry rather than hold the handset to her ear.
In an interview with Elle Decor magazine in which she lists the things she can't live without, Gwyneth said: "A handset cuts down on cell phone radiation. I use this one (the YUBZ Retro Handset) for my BlackBerry calls."
Gwyneth has also revealed some of the unique features of the London townhouse she shares with her husband Chris Martin and their two children, Apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses.
The 'Iron Man' star has a stylish Antonio Lupi Baia bathtub situated right in the centre of her and Chris' bedroom which she loves to unwind in.
She said: "The tub is in the middle of my bedroom - perfect for a relaxing wind-down and for bathing the kids."
Gwyneth, 38, also has a "Juxtaposed: Religion Shelf" containing several holy tomes which compliment her collection of clothbound Penguin Classic books.
She said: "My Juxtaposed: Religion Shelf has built-in slots which hold holy books - including the Qur'an, Bible, and Tao Te Ching - all at the same level (which is how I like to think about religion).
"I have gorgeous (clothbound) editions of Penguin Classics that make the books so tempting to pick up, again and again. The ultimate cure for sore muscles."
