Silk road culture sparkles at Hong Kong book fair

A silk road themed exhibition makes a splash at the 27th Hong Kong book fair during July 20 to 27, giving visitors a visual feast of ancient Chinese culture.

Named "Silk Road Cultural Trip: Shannxi and India", the exhibition showcases various items, including bronze work, tri-colored glazed pottery, traditional costumes, musical instruments, calligraphy and artworks. The collections range from the Western Zhou Dynasty (BC1046-BC771), Han (BC202-AD220) to the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907), and are well-received by local visitors.
