Shanghai artist to create work for Rolls-Royce

Shanghai-based artist Yang Fudong is to create a video work for the Rolls-Royce Art Program, which he will launch at the Shanghai Center of Photography in the West Bund art compound around the end of this year.
The work by Yang, 45, who has won international recognition for his filmmaking and photography, will be based on Chinese mythology and talk about perseverance and willpower.
Yang, Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem and Indian artist Sudarshan Shetty are Rolls-Royce Art Program members for 2016. The company uses the program to help artists realize new projects and explore new territories.
