Eslite in Taiwan is a paradise for many book lovers. My friends who've been there said that it's the kind of place that once you enter, you can never easily leave.
When I spent a whole afternoon wandering among the sea of books and cultural creative products at Eslite in Suzhou, I was at a loss for which books and cups I should buy. I always wonder how it feels like to be rich.
As the brand's first bookstore in the mainland, Eslite in Suzhou is not simply a bookstore, although it houses about 500,000 copies of 300,000 book titles, of which one-third are from Taiwan. They have a special philosophy and organize books and the same-themed cultural creative products. Readers usually bump into surprises when they are searching for their books.
When you are tired, you can go to the café and order a pot of "On the Road", "Tender is the Night" or "Bonjour Tristesse".
Soon this year, maybe in summer, people in Shanghai will have their own Eslite.
