A photography exhibit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York off ers a response to international concerns over China's resolve to develop an ecologically sound and beautiful country.
Entitled 'Beautiful China', the show, on display from May 26 to 30, features 63 photographs eff orts to harmonize progress and nature.
The show not only tells the story of China's natural and cultural attractions, it also portrays the country's on-going efforts to build an ecologically friendly and sustainable environment by employing green energy and conserving resources.
'I was so taken by the pictures in the show - especially the Yellow River photo, which looks like a golden dragon to me - that I would like to go on a trip to China right now,'said Maria Travato, a UN staff member.
