Former Guangdong vice governor expelled from CPC

BEIJING - Liu Zhigeng, former vice governor of Southern China's Guangdong province, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) for multiple offenses including graft, frequenting high-end clubs and "practicing superstitious activities."

The CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) announced the decision in a statement on Monday.
