China XD Group Corporation, one of the leading research and manufacturing enterprises for complete sets of electricity transmission and distribution equipment, recently signed two contracts with the Democratic Republic of Congo and Egypt for construction of two power projects in the two African countries.
The project in Congo carried by China XD is a 220 KV power supply one for a cement plant, and the project is the first EPC turnkey project China XD got in the African French-speaking countries.
The cement plant is the Congo’s largest one under construction so far and China XD works on a high voltage power supply project for the plant, including a KWILU substation, a PPCB substation and the 220KV line linking the two stations.
The project in Egypt is for four 220/22/22KV booster substations built in Benban and it is also a turnkey project, which will be completed within 8 months.
The successful signing of the projects reflects the recognition of the XD brand in the two African countries and laid a solid foundation for market development and project implementation of XD Group in African countries.
