Three local officials under graft investigation

BEIJING - Three local officials in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Chongqing Municipality and Shandong Province are being investigated on suspicion of taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said on Wednesday.
The highest ranking of the three is Hou Fengqi, secretary of the Communist Party of China Wuhai municipal committee in north China's Inner Mongolia.
The other two are Zhu Mingyu, former general manager of the Chongqing sales branch of PetroChina, and Wang Haitao, former general manager of Qingdao media group in Shandong. The latter has been arrested.
