Vice mayor of Shanghai under probe

BEIJING - Ai Baojun, vice mayor of Shanghai and director of Shanghai free trade zone, is being investigated for suspected "severe disciplinary violations," the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) announced Tuesday.
Ai, born in February 1960, is also a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee.
He has served as Shanghai vice mayor since December 2007, and director of the Administrative Committee of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone since September 2013, according to the CCDI website.
