MacBook Air and iPhone6S are rewards for excellent students
What is the most attractive incentive to encourage students to study hard and earn scholarships and honors? A university in Southwest China's Sichuan province gave its elite students a reward that surprised all.
Five freshmen each received a MacBook Air laptop and an iPhone6S smartphone as rewards for their excellent performance. They and other 12 freshmen each were also given a 40,000 yuan ($6,304) scholarship, chinanews.com reported on Thursday.They also have a chance to win a 200,000 yuan venture fund when they graduate.
