Parents queue for five days in front of kindergarten
They say to win, be at the starting line. It seems some people believe in it literally. To get their children admitted into a community kindergarten parents queued up five days in advance in Beijing, reported Beijing Youth Daily on Thursday.
When the school announced plans to admit 100 children for this year on Saturday, there were already 80 people queuing outside.
Though there are other kindergartens in the neighborhood, this school is the parents' favorite as it is located inside the community.
The community has about 6,000 households.
