The National Aquatics Center, better known as the Water Cube, which was one of the venues hosting the recently concluded APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) meeting, rolled out "APEC Tour" Saturday.
A thousand sets of dishes & dessert served at the 2014 APEC banquet were sold out. The 28-yuan ($4.57) "banquet 4 treasures" was the most popular, including Aiwowo (sticky rice with a sweet filling), Yundoujuan (kidney bean roll), Wandouhuang (Beijing sweet peas pudding) and Shaqima (a special honey cake).
The event is expected to last for two months.
