2 dead in northwest China knife attack

LANZHOU -- Two men died in a knife attack in Lanzhou City, capital of northwest China's Gansu Province, on Monday, local police said.
A knife-wielding man ran after and stabbed two men near Lanzhou Railway Station at around 5 pm, according to police.
Police said the suspect was apprehended and ruled out the possibility of a terrorist attack.
A further investigation is under way.
