White lie
A woman surnamed Shen lied to her own daughter, nicknamed Chengcheng, for 13 years that she was adopted in order to cultivate her independence, Shenyang Evening News reported. She told Chengcheng the truth when she graduated from college and found a good job.
Antique secret
Xu Baozhong, 59 years old, spent every weekend looking for an ancestral old object at antique markets in Beijing, which he sold secretly when he was 14 years old for a pair of gym shoes, Beijing Evening news reported.
The old object was used for laying hats in old times, and Xu said he will buy it back no matter how much it costs when he finds it.
Starving fee
More than ten students were driven out of a classroom for not paying the 460-yuan fee for meals at Spring Blossom School in Chongqing's Bazhou city, Huaxi Metropolitan newspaper reported.
Li Zhichun, the principal, explained the school charge the fee in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for resident students.
