HK customs seizes cocaine worth 2 million USD

HONG KONG - Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department said Thursday that it seized 2.1 kg of cocaine valued at 2.01 million US dollars and arrested an 18-year-old man at the airport on Wednesday.
Customs officers said they stopped the man for luggage examination and found the cocaine in a hidden compartment in his suitcase.
The man arrived from Sao Paulo, Brazil and was waiting in transit for ferry transfer to Zhuhai. He will be charged with drug trafficking and appear at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts on Friday.
