83 buried in Tibet mine area landslide

LHASA - A total of 83 workers were buried after a large-scale landslide hit a mining area in Tibet autonomous region Friday morning, local authorities said.
The landslide happened at about 6 am in Maizhokunggar county of Lhasa, the regional capital. The victims, including two Tibetans, were workers from a subsidiary of China National Gold Group Corporation.
