A Chinese girl who was adopted and moved to the US has returned home to try to trace her birth mother.
Madison, 9, was found abandoned near an old well just after she was born in June 2003.
She was adopted from the Hefei Children's Welfare Institution in 2005 and moved to Colorado Springs in the US state of Colorado.
The young girl, who has congenital heart disease, has been asking to find her natural mother since she was aged three.
On July 15, she joined her adoptive mom Marilyn and sisters Keily and Ally to return to China to hold signs reading "looking for mom"in Sanhe Street, Sanhe town, Huainan city, East China's Anhui province.
Madison owns a pony at home in the US and rides it every day. Madison wins first prize in a game.
