Malaysian offshore cranes manufacturer partners Chinese firm to offer oil, gas solutions
KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysian oil and gas cranes manufacturer has partnered with China's Harbin Jingwei Advanced Composite Material and Engineering Corporation (Harbin Jingwei), to jointly undertake research, development and deployment for innovative solutions and advance material application for oil and gas industry in the region.
Handal told Malaysia's stock exchange that it had entered into a collaboration agreement with Harbin Jingwei, to jointly develop and promote solution or product, and perform project management for oil and gas contracts.
Harbin Jingwei, the subsidiary of Shanghai EB Pipeline Engineering Ltd (SHEB) that involved in the business of advanced high performance composite material, will provide technical know-how on advance material engineering, according to the statement.
It said the collaboration is in line with China's Belt and Road Initiative and involves independent research and development of hi-tech composite material, which is an advanced technology of strategic importance in the oil and gas development as well as other industries, both at home and abroad.
