Chinese yuan to depreciate slightly, but with larger fluctuation
The Chinese currency is expected to depreciate slightly this year, due to a bleak global economic outlook, the Fed's dollar spike and foreign trade fell. Meanwhile, the currency will see bigger fluctuations amid the central bank's grappling against short-sellers in the offshore yuan maket. But there is no basis for the yuan's continued depreciation.
