China is considering guidelines to further develop the Internet of Things industry, financial website 21cbh.com reported on Dec 24, citing a government official.
The government has drawn up 10 initiatives, including national standard drafting and research investment, in a bid to boost the industry, said Gu Dawei, deputy director of high-tech industry office under the National Development and Reform Commission.
Gu said the guideline is expected to be implemented soon, but didn't offer a more-specific timetable.
