Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong

HONG KONG - The gold price in Hong Kong went up HK$190 to open at HK$16,380 per tael Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to $1,764.82 a troy ounce, up $20.47.
