Hong Kong stocks close 1.35% lower

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks fell 318.01 points, or 1.35 percent, to close at 23,315.24 on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,582.60 and 23,230.38. Turnover totaled HK$77.86 billion ($10.02 billion).
