China stocks close higher Monday

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed higher Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 6.8 points, or 0.22 percent, to 3,057.33.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 35.59 points, or 0.27 percent, to 13,001.33.
