China stocks close higher Monday

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed higher Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 26.49 points, or 0.92 percent, to end at 2,905.05.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.13 percent, or 268.56 points, to finish at 12,902.44 points.
