GD Power unit gets nod for building wind farms in Shandong

GD Power Development Co said its Shandong New Energy Co unit won preliminary state approval to build two wind farms in East China's Shandong province with combined capacity of 400 megawatts, Bloomberg reported Monday.

GD Power, the subsidiary of China Guodian Corporation, engages in the generation and supply of power and heat. It was founded in 1992 and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1997.
