Jiangsu exports more solar cells but at lower price

East China's Jiangsu province sold abroad 23.52 million solar cells in the first 10 months of this year, a 190-percent year-on-year rise, the local customs house said on Dec 28.

Of the total sales, foreign-funded companies accounted for 88.5 percent, or 20.80 million solar cells, up 180 percent year-on-year.
Approximately 76.4 percent of the exports, or 17.97 million cells, went to the European Union, up 170 percent year-on-year.
