Last year, 1.2 million tourists from northern China visited the park, accounting for more than 30 percent of the overall number of tourists from the mainland.
He said the company would encourage mainland tourists to join the "Get Closer to the Animals" programs to learn more about conservation other than enjoying the facilities at the park. For example, visitors can prepare food for koalas and red-necked wallabies, and feed sharks and rays. Some offerings at the park would also attract discounts for such visitors.
Online users could also play a game on the park's website through Nov 27 to win discounts on admission tickets to the park on or before Dec 18.
