8,000 tourists pile up in swimming pool
Swimming may be a good escape from sizzling heat in summer. But what would it be like if 8,000 people swarmed to a 30,000 sq m pool? Fortunately, it's Dead Sea and you can just float there instead of swim.
The Dead Sea in Daying county, Suining, Southwest China's Sichuan province, was packed with tourists as the mercury shot over 35 degrees Celsius Saturday. The place was so crowded that people almost piled up on top of each other.
Water in the Dead Sea has a high density, which makes swimming similar to floating.
