Golf program opened at university

Sichuan International Studies University will open a golf service and management program with Poly Chongqing Golf Club this year.

Both this year's graduates and high school graduates can apply for the program. Sixty students are expected to be recruited. The tuition fees will be 25,000 yuan ($4,000) a year.

According to statistics from the General Administration of Sport, more than 50 million people will be playing golf in 2020 and nearly 400,000 golf staff will be needed. But most of the Chinese staff working in the golf field has no special training and companies have to hire foreign staff and pay high salaries.
