Woman fails driving test for 14 years, gives up
A woman spent 14 years on driving courses, failing the driving test every time until she finally gave up this year, reported Chutian Metropolis Daily on Wednesday.
When Wang signed up at a driving school in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province in 2001, she expected to finish the course and pass fairly quickly. However, over the last 14 years, she has tried to pass the test many times, only to fail every time. As a result, the woman had to repay the tuition fee every two years – the period of time within which one is supposed to obtain a driving license.
The 40-year-old woman finally decided to give up trying to get her driving license this year. The head of the driving school was so relieved that he treated the woman to a farewell dinner.
