GAGDET: The Rouge
For fashion and beauty junkies, it's no secret that Christian Louboutin, the world-famous shoe designer whose scarlet-soled stilettos were inspired by cherry-red nail polish, launched his first nail polish collection, Rouge Louboutin this past summer. Following the huge success of the nail polish, the brand has decided to introduce a nail-art pen. It’s designed to be used on the underside of your nails and is only available in red.
Shop: Loubi Under Red is priced at $45 and can be purchased from christrianlouboutin.com and nordstorm.com.
TOOL: Your Trendy Kit
This innovative, at-home kit sold by Sephora makes it possible to PIY (polish-it-yourself), even a gel manicure. It includes a pre-timed LED lamp that can dry your manicure in 30 seconds, a hoof stick, a two-in-one bottle of top coat and base coat, and a bottle of cherry-red gel manicure. There is also an at-home gel manicure removing set available at the beauty chain store. The set retails at 138 yuan ($22.4).
Shop: My Trendy Kit is priced at 608 yuan and can be purchased from sephora.com and at any of its brick-and-mortar stores in Shanghai.
